NEW version of HGS (March 2023 - Revision 2509)

The HydroGeoSphere Revision 2509 (March 2023) is now available for download.

As usual we’ve corrected all user reported bugs, but we’re most excited to announce a new command that should make working with channels/streams and any other model component based on polyline shapefiles MUCH easier!

  • ‘choose faces vertical from polyline shp’ chooses all vertical faces that lie below a polyline defined by a shapefile and within a sheet range. This command is similar to the previously existing ‘choose faces vertical from polyline’ but the input structure is much simpler (i.e. using an actual polyline shapefile) and it is much more efficient than the old command (7600x faster based on some early tests)

As always, we are committed to the continued improvement to the user experience. Do you have suggestions for new commands or improvements to the user experience? Send your ideas to support@aquanty.com!

The latest installers are available on the HGS download page and a full list of changes/updates can be found in the release notes.
