NEW version of HGS PREMIUM April 2025 (REVISION 2817)
The HydroGeoSphere Revision 2817 (April 2025) is now available for download.
This month’s update brings new tools for segment selection, a streamlined approach for mass flux boundary conditions, and additional memory-saving options for large-scale models. Combined with a substantial round of performance optimizations and enhancements. This release is all about enhancing model setup efficiency and runtime performance for HydroGeoSphere (HGS) users.
New commands
choose segments polyline by sheet shp
andchoose segments polyine by sheet multifeature shp
that select segments within a specified sheet that follow closely to the polylines defined in a shapefile. These new commands will make it much easier to define segment based model domains, such as channels and tile drains.
New specified mass flux boundary condition command
specified uniform mass flux.
This will make it easier to define mass fluxes for multi-solute transport problems.
New command
lst off
that turns off generation of the .lst file so that no output is written to that file. This will potential save on memory usage for particularly large models with lengthy simulation duration.
And a large batch (>12) of optimizations, command refactoring and bug fixes to make your models run faster and to improve the user experience!
You can find details about these new features in the HydroGeoSphere Reference Manual. And as always, we are committed to the continued improvement to the user experience. Do you have suggestions for new commands or improvements to the user experience? Send your ideas to support@aquanty.com!
The latest installers are available on the HGS download page and a full list of changes/updates can be found in the release notes.
