NEW version of HGS (May 2021 - Revision 2255)

We’re pleased to announce the May 2021 release of HydroGeoSphere (Revision 2255). In addition to the usual bug fixes this update includes three new commands:

  • ‘choose node xy top’ - chooses the node on the top sheet whose xy-coordinates are nearest to the user specified xy-coordinates

  • ‘fluid mass balance for olf areas using shp file by layer’ - similar to the existing command ‘fluid mass balance for olf areas using shp file’, allows the user to specify a layer range for the pm domain output

  • ‘elevation-discharge table’ - defines a tabular stage-discharge relationship used by the ‘flux nodal by pressure’ boundary condition (the specified volumetric flux is computed from the table via linear interpolation of total head)

We’ve also refactored/optimized many processes/calculations, which should decrease run-times for many models!
